Before founding the American Consulting Company, Larry enjoyed twelve years of management with McCaw Communications and AT&T. For over thirty years, Larry's been involved in sourcing, interviewing and hiring candidates.

Because he felt the recruiting industry offered a lot of opportunity for doing business the right way, Larry founded the American Consulting Company.

After a year of working solo, he began encouraging other successful business managers to join the firm. Only those with a solid business background and a history of high ethical standards, are invited to explore an association with the firm.

Larry's goal is to provide a small 'boutique' type presence in the large metropolitan areas of the United States. One where each recruiter only accepts and concentrates on two or three recruiting assignments at any one time.

Larry believes that before anyone in the firm accepts a recruiting assignment, a business relationship with the hiring manager needs to be developed. A thorough understanding of the client company's culture, ethics, business goals, and of course all specifics of the job order must be completely understood by the American recruiter. Only then, can our consultant/recruiter begin to meet the needs of the client and earn the right to begin a professional and ongoing relationship.
